Born the 8th of June 1958, Madhuri Bhaduri has been successful artist the past four decades, exhibiting her works since 1986 in major cities in India and Abroad. In the earlier part of her career, Madhuri has also been a National champion in badminton and played at National level for several years followed by squash for five years the Nationals. She pursued a diploma in French at Alliance Francaise de Pune for three years and went to pursuing a formal training in Masters of Art and painting from S.N.D.T women’s University, Mumbai.

Madhuri Bhaduri’s art works have featured in thirty six solo shows and more than 70 group shows in India and abroad. She has received several prestigious awards during her art journey including the latest being felicitated by Women’s Economic Forum (WEF 2016) as Iconic Leader in field of Art, Design and Entrepreneurship and Dr. Sarojini Naidu National award for women in June 2016. She recently received the achiever’s in field of Art by Savvy Magna Publications. The Artist actively participates in many National workshops and has been actively involved in contributing to many charitable organizations like Concern India foundation, Cancer patients Aid Association, Bhuj earthquake, SEC (society the education of crippled), CRY, Help age and is constantly re-inventing herself by herself to different vistas. The latest being her summer study course in Finance and Art at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Her paintings the collections of many institutions and private collectors such as Jamshed Bhaba, Aditya Birla, Sadruddin Daya, Ajay Piramal, Tata Group of Companies , The Leela Hotel, Kirloskar Group, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Forge & Kalyani Industries and Kirloskar Cummins to name a few.

Madhuri’s art works have gradually veered from figurative the abstractionist mode her inner being matured the way she expressed her thought process and feeling on canvas. Each new series exploring the various planes of emotional experiences in dialogue of brush and paint is warm, vivid, sensual and completely resounding with the message of her inner spirit where there is spontaneity, hope, joy and fulfillment. In 2002 this multi dimensional artist took to sculpting and creating “assemblages” using metal scraps, in endeavor to understand and realize more completely what form and shape are about, savoring the possibilities of expression as sculpture.
