Art that matters is the art which communicates at a profound level and thus be receptive to successive generations of human experience. COVID-19 is bringing about a whole set of new challenges in every possible realm; art industry being one of them. Given the rapidly evolving situation around the pandemic is changing how we live and work in ways we would not have thought before- today’s new normal for me as an artist is that I’ve resorted to more sustainable art. Remember, the actions you take now will reflect in the future and emerge from this crisis transformed for the better. We all have to explore ways in which our practices can adjust, shape, or reorder across multiple dimensions and call it the ‘New Normal’- the artist marks it with her unique touch making it her very own.
